Social Media & Technology Policy
Social Media Interaction At Gracewoven Counseling, we prioritize your confidentiality and the integrity of our therapeutic relationship. To protect your privacy:
We do not accept "friend" or contact requests from current or former clients on any social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.). Adding clients as friends can compromise your confidentiality and blur professional boundaries.
We do not communicate with clients via social media messaging. Please do not use messaging on sites like Instagram or Facebook to contact your therapist. These sites are not secure, and we may not read these messages in a timely fashion.
Business Review Sites: You may find our practice on sites like Google, Yelp, or Bing. Please know that we do not request testimonials from clients, as it is unethical for counselors to solicit reviews from current clients. You have a right to express yourself on these sites, but due to confidentiality, we cannot respond to any review, positive or negative, as doing so would acknowledge that you are a client.
General Website Disclaimer

No Provider-Client Relationship Using this website, reading our content, or sending a contact inquiry does not establish a therapist-client relationship. A professional relationship is only established after an initial intake appointment is conducted and a service agreement is signed by both parties.
